No it can't. It have to be over 5yrs old.

And to get it marry, your tamagotchis have to be

72 hours without pausing or you have to got another music star or v5 familitchi.

Actually, my Tamagotchi was messed up and once married when it was 2; but then again, that was my Music Star. :)

 
It is possible, just connect when there is 4 happy hearts when it's an adult!

 
The match maker (band manager) won't come until 5 yrs old, but it can marry another tama anytime it's adult, see my married almost just after turing into adult... :) :) :D :p :D :p
