All the foods in the restaurants are just... um, yes, foods. You buy them and then you eat them. 
The Yule Log should be like any other food...

Basically, all of the items in there are food. For Wave 1, the figures that have food as a Shop selection is Ringotchi and Kuchipatchi, wave 2 is Sebiretchi and Ichigotchi, in case you need to know. The rest are Game, Shop and Item.

The Yule Log is just a food like the other foods inside the Ringotchi Gotchi Figure.
Nevermind about the yule log. At first I didn't know that they were referring to the food. I thought they were referring to the piece of wood that you use to burn in the fireplace. But now I know.
