Why is Bandai USA Still Advertising Tama-go Tamagotchis

Okay, so now with BANDAI USA stating TamaTown.com is officially dead, and the Tama-Go product thus totally crippled for part of its function: why in the world do they continue to advertise the product on their site, complete with how FUN TamaTown is! Talk about your false advertising. And PLEASE, I don't buy that b.s. about them loosing all their data on the server. That's just totally unrealistic, ALL larger server applications have back-up routines. It's simply unthinkable to run one, without such a failsafe method in place. They strung us along for months, then that lame notice (https://www.bandai.com/tamagotchi/thankyou/)... What a way to treat loyal customers.

They're not advertising Tama-Go's. That site has been sitting since they were released in 2010 (3 years ago) and was no longer updated ever since.

Bandai has a bit of a bad history with updating their websites... I remember when I used to visit their blog daily to get the new info, but their blog just stopped being used altogether in September 2011.

Bandai. you need to go home. now. go think about what you've done.

I just bought a tamago tamagotchi on amazon.. It was pretty cheap..

i.. i didn't want to use tamatown anyway!!!
