I haven't had the best of luck in the past with keeping my tamagotchis alive for a long time. What I want to know, for the P's or iD L...can a tama die suddenly, regardless of care becasue it is simply too old? After unlocking all the characters I want to just raise one for a long time before going to another generation, and I just wanted to know if there is anything on these 2 devices that can cause a sudden or unexpected death.

Basically, is there a limit to age?

Ever since the iD version, the adult characters can virtually live forever (age counter stops at 99), however they can run away if being neglected.

For younger characters (toddler/teen), they may die on neglect.

Aww, man I was hoping the age could go past 99..but it didn't look like there was room for a 3 digit number. Thanx for answering.
