Best/cheapest place to buy Tamagotchi P's Pierces at?

Recommended Posts

Title says it all. I guess I can elaborate a bit though.

Ebay and Amazon both offer pierces at around $20, which I think is kinda crazy considering I got my tamagotchi p for only a little bit more than that, AND it was the Dream Coffret edition, so it was a tama + pierce. Hard to believe that a pierce alone costs over half of that, y'know ; A;

So I was wondering if there are maybe some stores I don't know about that can offer these pierces at a more reasonable price. I live in the US so buying them retail is clearly not an option...

If anything, some discussion/answers as to why pierces are so expensive now would be nice. My memory is not too crystal-clear, but I don't recall these pierces costing anything near $20 when the Tama P's first came out. Weren't they somewhere closer to half of that? :o

Thanks in advance :)

I'm interested in this topic too, I bought my P's for 16$, and then had to pay for a PIERCE 19$, so I would love to find a place to find cheaper ones too xD

Some of the pierces can be found for rather cheap prices on Amazon and Taobao though, but I think it depends mainly on wich pierce it is, I've seen the Dream Coffret one for 6$, but can't sem to find a LoveMelo for less than 20$ xD

I bought all my pierces when they were first released and I remember them all being under $10 before shipping, other than the collaboration pierces, which were slightly more expensive (Ciao, Sanrio, Aikatsu, etc.)

Part of the reason they're more expensive now is because stores wouldn't get any more in stock once they sold out because Bandai seemed to stop producing them once the next pierce was released, so there aren't a lot out there. The P's itself was on the market much longer than any one pierce, so there are a lot of them out there and so the price decreases. The LoveMelo pierce was the first one ever released and was barely on the market for two weeks before a new pierce came out, unlike the others which had a month in between releases.

Your best bet is to keep checking Ebay.

Pierces cost about 10-12 dollars in Japan.

I bought mine on HLJ and CDJapan for around that amount + shipping. But they're mostly sold out on those sites now.

There are two pierces on Mandarake at the moment for only about $4 each. But they only have one of each, so they may get sold quickly.

http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-1894458.html

I've used this site a few times before and they're pretty reliable.

Shipping is like $20 to Australia for EMS, and $15 for SAL (but they only ship to Australia with SAL now)

I assume the shipping is less to America.

You need to wait until you get an email with a quote for the shipping, after your purchase.

Coffret Pierce appears to be pretty cheap on ebay.

This store on Rakuten has three piercings for fairly cheap

Again, Shipping is like $15-$20 though. Like Mandarake, you need to wait for an email telling you the cost. Then you can approve or cancel the order.

Thanks Myiko, I never had a chance :(

Well thanks for the responses to those of you who contributed to the discussion... looks like I'll just have to pay 20 bucks a pierce. Oh well. I'll buy 'em all eventually.

It was probably $5 because you don't live in Australia and/or it doesn't weigh much at all X3

I know right!!!

I've seen pierces in Amazon and eBay for $20 plus, and five to six pierces going for $100+.

So no P's for me, I guess. Getting an iD L soon, hopefully!

      I need help! >.<
I'm buying a new Tama, but I can't decide on whether I want the Meets or the On. I know they're the same with the language being the only difference, but here's where my debate comes in:
1.) I love the Meets packaging! The one from the On isn't as exciting for when I first open my tama. I know the packaging isn't everything, but like keeping things like that (I have all of my other packages from my other tama's too. aha)
2.) I know some Japanese, but I'm fluent in English. (Obviously.) I like knowing what is being said between different characters so I wouldn't be able to do that with the Meets, but I LOVE the Meets glitter in the plastic on the shell. The pearl is pretty for the On, but ... idano, man. Something about that glitter. >:P
3.) I really really REALLLLLLY want the Sanrio Meets, but again... I won't be able to see the convos between my characters and can the meets connect to the on tama's? (You know.. because one is in English and the other is in Japanese..)
and 4.) ... is it possible for the app for the meets to work in the US with a Meets instead of an On Tama?

My old purse died an honorable death, but when I tried to revive it as a duct-tape zombie my mother was not impressed and made me buy a new one. The old one closed with velcro, but the new one uses a magnet snap. I know that's safe for smartphones and such, but I didn't stop to think about how that might affect a Tamagotchi.
I don't really want to experiment with my Tamas and magnets to find out, so I was wondering if anyone here might know? Thanks

I started out with 60kb, then it was 0.04mb and now its 0.02mb. With it going lower and lower will I just not be able to post pictures anymore?
Is there a way to put pictures on my log or this site without worrying about file size besides posting the URL to the picture?

I'll try to keep this guide as short and detailed as possible.
So, I am assuming you want a Pochitchi. ( ) This guide is for the original English 1996-1997 P2 Tamagotchi.

After you hatch your egg and you are past the baby stage, which lasts one hour, you should have a green child named a Tonmarutchi. You'll have the Tonmarutchi for 72 hours, and you need to give it good care. If you take bad care of it you'll raise a Hashitamatchi. If you raise a Hashitamatchi, you won't be able to obtain a Pochitchi, and need to hatch a new egg if you still want that Pochitchi. If you take good care of your Tonmarutchi, you should get a Tongaritchi. This is a teen. To finally get your Pochitchi, you'll have to take almost perfect care, but not perfect care, of your Tongaritchi. I would try to take perfect care of it and purposely do some care mistakes. Eventually, if you've done the guide correctly, you should have your ! I know, easier said than done.

To find more information about Pochitchi visit http://tamagotchi.wikia.com/wiki/Pochitchi if you haven't done so.
      Thanks.

I have a Magical Green Meets ver. and I just wanna to know how long take to grow up to the adult stage, since my Tamagotchi is in the child stage now. I'm a very impatient guy, so I can't wait too much anyway.
Also, I wanna to know if my Meets have an type of problem on it, and I'm afraid to pick the don't-grow problem on it.
