Help With Connecting to the 4U App?

For whatever reason, I'm able to connect my 4U when touching the back of my phone- on any screen, not just the download one- but it won't connect when I select the app icon on the 4U. It does this with both Mr. Blinky's English app and also the Japanese one (I'm not sure if it's the official one. It may just be an .apk file of it?). The app screen never shrinks down and tapping it does nothing. I'm unable to get any of the downloadable items, but I am getting the house upgrades. Any suggestions as to why it's doing this?

Sadly that most likely sounds like your phone doesn't work with the 4U, if I may ask what brand is your phone?

I have the Nexus 7.

Is it the second gen nexus?

Yep, is it the Nexus 2nd 2013 model?
Sadly the 2012 model doesn't work correctly so if you've got that one I'm sorry to say it won't work
