I always make sure that my tamagotchi has all hunger hearts full and all happiness hearts full. But here's the thing, he's still a toddler and weighs 66 Lbs. I've been going with this one for about 4 days and it still says he's 0 years old. I'm using a tama-go

The only thing it seems that weight affects is what adult your tama will evolve into. I was curious, so I kept my tama at maximum weight and he turned into a Shimashimatchi, an adorable bumblebee/bear looking tama.

And if he gets really over fed, they get a little, er, troubled and poop a lot if you give them medicine. ;w;

It sounds like you're over feeding it. You'll have to play a lot of games to get it to regular weight again. I think the average weight for a toddler is about 10 pounds.
