Either a V1 or V2 would be fine. I simply want a keyring Tama for nostalgic reasons. It will swing with my car keys. I just don't want to fund the Chinese rip offs.

Can someone point me in a direction where I can find one?

Do you want fake or orginal?if you want the original one find it it your public toy store..Toy r us!there's so many of them in toy r us

But the original style? Or are they music star things?

I'm really after an original simple one.

 
Sadly there won't be any in actual stores you can walk into and buy from, especially with the older models. I've checked Target and Wal Mart and Toys r Us and none of them carry anything (understandably so, since the v1 was released like over a decade ago)

Check eBay, there's always something good there. They might not have exactly what you want right away but you can follow the search 'tamagotchi' and get emails when new listings come up.
