Tamagotchi Nano Deaths

Hello! I have been running my Tamagotchi Nano since I got it (so just over three weeks now). I raised a little Mametchi and it's adorable. However, I'm wanting to raise a new character now. How do I do this? Do I have to reset the Tamagotchi? I'd heard that they can die of neglect, but I don't know how; this seems to be the hardiest of all my Tamas. Can they die of old age? I think this would be my preference, as death by neglect or resetting would feel a little like murder! =o But at the same time, I do want to try an raise another Tama.

They technically don't die if you neglect them, they just run away. But yeah, if you want a different tama you'll have to reset it or just hardcore neglect them because they don't age. I've had a Lovelitchi live to be 45 days old before I reset mine, and a Meistertchi live to be 52 days old.
