Hello!

I recently bought a used, gold P2 off ebay. I always clean used tamagotchis with isopropyl alcohol. Does the alcohol damage the gold paint on the tamagotchi? I'm just concerned, especially because I've heard the gold paint gets dirty and tarnishes very easily.

I would watch out. Don't rub it too intensely. Just wipe it without much force and you will be fine.

Even if you do some damage it should be easily fixed with an alcohol-based gold metallic marker, they usually work wonders. But still, I know it would suck. You can try rubbing some of it on the back cover (this place will most likely get scratched anyway) and see how it behaves.
