Wife and I keep getting the same gender in m!x

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone. My wife and I each have a spacey m!x. We got these not only for nostalgia, but also with the intention to breed with each other as often as possible.

Our first gen was boy/girl, so that went well and we married through connection. However for 7 gens now we have had the same gender every single time, and I feel like the odds of that happening must be pretty low at this point.

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and if there is anything we can do to get opposite genders again without resetting our devices. I have heard rumors that there are potentially tricks to getting a specific gender but nothing has turned out conclusive.

Any tip for us? Are we just super unlucky, or is there actually something we can do on our part to finally breed with each other again?

Thank you!

Getting a child of either gender is a 50-50 chance, so it's all just luck based. You're not alone when it comes to this problem, many others (including myself) have had this issue to. The best thing you can do is to keep hoping the next gen will be something different.

I got myself into that same cycle a while back and what I did was I married one off waited to see the gender of the baby and if I had two girls and the baby was a boy I kept the other adult I didn't marry off around to marry the boy once he is old enough

Thanks for your input, we married today with same genders on our m!x, and ended up getting opposite gender children for the first time in 8 generations!! We smashed different buttons in hopes that it would help, kinda like smashing the A and B button when trying to catch a pokemon hahaha. Not sure if it helped but we got what we wanted! I guess we are just super unlucky sometimes. Hopefully this trend continues so we can marry each other more often!

I'll try to keep this guide as short and detailed as possible.
So, I am assuming you want a Pochitchi. ( ) This guide is for the original English 1996-1997 P2 Tamagotchi.

After you hatch your egg and you are past the baby stage, which lasts one hour, you should have a green child named a Tonmarutchi. You'll have the Tonmarutchi for 72 hours, and you need to give it good care. If you take bad care of it you'll raise a Hashitamatchi. If you raise a Hashitamatchi, you won't be able to obtain a Pochitchi, and need to hatch a new egg if you still want that Pochitchi. If you take good care of your Tonmarutchi, you should get a Tongaritchi. This is a teen. To finally get your Pochitchi, you'll have to take almost perfect care, but not perfect care, of your Tongaritchi. I would try to take perfect care of it and purposely do some care mistakes. Eventually, if you've done the guide correctly, you should have your ! I know, easier said than done.

To find more information about Pochitchi visit http://tamagotchi.wikia.com/wiki/Pochitchi if you haven't done so.
      Thanks.

Hi friends, I'm new to Tama talk so I apologize if this is somewhere else, but I couldn't find it.
I have a mix and would love to connect it with another Tama, but I don't want to get 2 of the same kind. Is there any cross compatibility between gens, maybe connecting a mix and a p's, or so on?
Worse comes to worse, I can always get a Sanrio or an anniversary mix, but I'd like to build my collection with different stuff!
Thank you! Also so excited to find a group who loves tamagotchi since everyone I talk to is always like "oh yeah, I remember those in the 90s... They're back??"

hey, i remember finding a very old tripod site that houses some tamagotchi emulators but 99% of them aren't able to work with my laptop depsite them being from 1999 or newer. i can link it if anyone wants to check it out or just google "tamagotchi emulators" which that website should pop up.

Hey guys! So I bought a used tama off a Tamagotchi trading group on Facebook.
Everything seemed well until I got the "Please replace your battery" screen just 3 days in. With brightness level 3 and sound on for two days and off for one.
Is this normal? I thought batteries would last for at least 12-15 days. I've tried different brands and the same thing happens. So far, I've tried Eveready and Duracell batteries.
Any idea what might be happening?
      Thanks
