I saw that only the US Galaxy S5 and the Nexus 7 2nd Gen work with the 4U. How come other phones with NFC technology don't work?

there is a list on phones who successfully sent items to their tama with mrblinkys english app on his website, so you can see some more phones it works with.

i think you need felica compatible NFc, correct me if im wrong here.

"FeliCa, short for Felicity Card, is a a type of RFID contactless payment system popular in Japan. FeliCa is similar to NFC, and NFC devices are typically compatible with FeliCa systems. It is primarily used in payment cards for uses such as shopping or buying subway passes."

Another phone I can confirm works is the US Samsung galaxy note 4. My mom kept that when she upgraded to the iPhone 7, so I use it to download content to my 4U. It’s because Note 4 is the same as the S5, the notes were just behind one number back then.
