Mimitchi’s Merry Logs

Recommended Posts

(Sorry if the images are very big or sideways, uploaded these from a phone)

Hello! :) Mimitchi06 here, logging my first tama experiences. It’s very exciting, even if they just bob around on the screen so far.

Let’s start with the P1. He was very needy like all tamas in the baby stage, but after a solid hour he wasn’t as needy. I filled his hearts up right away and every time I saw them drop-even by one!-I very quickly refilled them. I fed him mostly meals and barely any snacks- those would be taken care of by games.88C74E31818A45D0A101.jpeg

At a random point (around 20-30 minutes before evolving) he slept for no reason and woke up around 6 minutes later. Then he got sick and needed 2 doses of medicine, and then a few minutes later, the magic happened!

197678B25BE64CC88318.jpeg

Now, he wasn’t as needy as he was in the baby stage, but now more waiting will happen until he evolves again. He did make 2 discipline calls, though, and got his meter filled halfway. I guess this guy’s hungry for attention. :P

And then his brother came into the world... like the P1, the P2 was very needy- dropping hearts every few minutes but getting them refilled in no time. Throughout his time as a babytchi, he was fed only 2 snacks- we played the game a lot! I think the sound chip is a bit wonky in him, sometimes the beeps come out very sharp or lag a bit. I’ve also noticed his beeps are quieter than the P1- is this normal?

BBE131F19CAA433ABF95.jpeg

P2 stayed a baby for longer, as I had him paused a lot (I did other things, nobody can watch tamagotchi for a whole day... or can they?) but this afternoon he evolved.

E742DF85B62C4CAF80C0.jpeg

He did the weird random power-nap thing again, but soon he gained a spike!

39650E43F83D429F89A4.jpeg

Wow! Evolution is fascinating. He has not called for discipline at all, maybe he isn’t as attention-seeking as his brother, or maybe he’s just well behaved. Who knows.

Anyway, that’s the end of today’s tama log. This is my first attempt at logging- please give feedback so my future logs can be better. I’m excited to see what happens tomorrow, if anything happens at all- I’m giving perfect care, so they should be on the route to Mimitchi/Mametchi.

(Quick question: when do they [child stages] go to sleep?)

Hi! To answer your question, Child-stage characters on the P1/P2 fall asleep at 8:00 PM and wake up at (I believe) 9:00 AM? If I'm wrong, then they would wake up at 8:00 AM instead. Their sleep time will change as they evolve into Teenager and Adult stages - to my limited experience most, if not all, Adults sleep at 10:00 PM. Of course, if you have the sound on, they will beep for you to turn the lights off, so you probably won't miss it.
Nice log by the way, and merry Christmas!

I apologize for not posting a log yesterday, but not much happened. Even then, I’ll post some of the highlights of yesterday.

P1 reached full discipline, yet he continues to make calls. I guess he just really likes attention, then. The P2 also made his first call, but he didn’t make any more after that.

The P2’s meters stayed full for most of the day, rarely going down. He mostly just blobbed around the screen like always. The P1, though, was needier, with his meters dropping more frequently, and he also went to the bathroom twice. Other than that, he’s relatively low-maintenance.

I assume they’ll evolve either today or tomorrow, we’ll see. They’re still sleeping as I type this, with the P2 having dropped a hunger heart sleeping. I’ll log again tonight, but until then we can only guess what will happen.

Hello again! Not much happened in terms of care, but here goes.

First thing this morning, the second the tamas woke up, they evolved! And just into what I hoped they’d be. Tamatchi and Tongaritchi!

5DA6DEF19B514CD9AE90.jpeg

Again, not much happened, although the P2 did get full discipline today. The P1 has yet to, which is strange considering his was filled first.

Their hearts dropped once every hour. I’ve been trying not to keep them paused for too long, as that may slow their growth.

I think the eating animation for Tamatchi is funny, because it looks like his arms disappear! And then they return when he’s done. The same happens in the game, and when you win, his arms become blobs instead of sticks. That’s just something I noticed.

Tongaritchi eventually got sick and required two shots. Tamatchi didn’t yet, and I don’t think Tongaritchi is close to evolving, because he just did this morning.

That concludes this short log. At least it was longer than the last one, I apologize for it being so short. They should evolve on or around Monday, but we’ll have to see what happens. Until next time!

Hello!

I apologize for not updating earlier, but here is the new update on my tamas!

When they woke up on January 1st, I heard the familiar evolution jingle. Fingers crossed, hoping to get who I was aiming for, and-4464F1F675F74D7A8AB8.jpeg

79CFBD807EE44BE4B62C.jpeg

I was greeted by none other than Mametchi and Mimitchi! I didn’t think I took that perfect care of them, maybe their hearts dropped and weren’t filled right away, but they became perfect care adults anyway! Mimitchi was more exciting to get for me than Mametchi (not that I hate Mametchi), but both are welcome.

Not much has happened since then. They are fun to be around and I only have to check on them once every hour to refill some hearts. Currently they are 15 years old due to frequent pausing. I’ll try to keep updating when major things happen, but since they’re adults now, don’t expect this to be updated for a while.

(Also, I may be getting a Connection soon, so there’s more to log about. Yay! No promises though :P )

Hello! This log will become a bit more active, since my Tamagotchi v4 arrived in the mail today! The screen has a weird black scratch on it, but that’s okay. Moving on to the log...

I set the time, date, birthday, and username. It started with an egg...E2F7A96449A2494DB2DC.jpeg

The egg hatched at 4:25 PM, which is where most evolutions will occur I assume. Or, at least they will have 25 minutes on the hour. (I worded that weird.)

The baby hatched as a girl, and I named her Ari. No reason- it just sounded nice.4B9C6D2F59BD4478B568.jpeg

I used some codes to get more items- here’s Ari playing with her clone.99530A7D2E024560BBBC.jpeg

Around 5:25 PM she evolved into her child stage, Mohitamatchi! Not sure if the skill points determine her evolution into a Meme or Kuchi teen, but her social/“flower” skills are higher than her artistic/“sparkle” skills.

Here she is in the playhouse...A56E23E2A75A4FAEB86F.jpeg

And the slide. Whee! It looks a bit like she’s screaming in fear though, but I bet she enjoys it. :P7DDDCE50D64C442791F9.jpeg5880860101A14137A4E1.jpeg

At 6:25 PM, Nazotchi arrived and gave me the preschool acception letter. Ari now goes there, although instead of singing like the teacher she usually falls.

Anyway, that’s all for the log today. I’ll probably focus more on Ari now, since the P1/P2s haven’t done much.

Current stats for Ari: 14/11/13

Hello! :mimitchi:

Today, Ari got mail quite frequently. Twice the Gotchi King arrived, and the second time he gave us 200 points!

49180407B27B4A98BFFB.jpeg21CEA89DEAD14933AF9B.jpeg

Once she got a snake, and she got robbed twice! :( But that’s okay, she didn’t suffer much.

Near 5 PM, she finally evolved into her long-awaited teenager stage!

D0F13543CC13441DAE96.jpeg3A14A4B3CB8340EB928C.jpeg

She became a Young Dorotchi! Isn’t she cute?

F067FBF172484621A23C.jpeg

What I don’t get, though, is that Young Dorotchi is female, while Dorotchi is male. Weird. :P

A little while after, I saw her bathing! Not sure how ghosts can take baths, but I’m not going to overthink that.

BBA111CAE40A4A249CDD.jpeg

And near 6 PM, she graduated from preschool and got to go to school! I chose Mr. Canvas for her, since now I’m trying for Yattatchi.

08B68BA6808F45469C87.jpeg

The school minigame was a bit hard for me at first, but it got easier after playing it for a few minutes. I’ve also been playing Flag a lot too, to increase her social/“flower” points.

I also made a GIF of her brushing her teeth:

B6BB4E5954A84866A37F.gif

That’s all for today. Her current stats are 37/31/41, and she is one year old. I’m assuming she’ll evolve in about 2-3 days from now.

Goodbye for now! :ichigotchi:

Hello! :mimitchi:

In today’s log, something very exciting happened! But before I share that, I’ll tell you what happened earlier.

The shovel and fishing rod were in the shop, so I bought them both and Ari gave them a go.

6797A9634FCC455C8A90.jpeg

Oh no! Looks like she wasn’t so lucky with the shovel...

On the other hand, her luck with the fishing rod was great!

B51285A5FD124C57AB2C.jpeg

I’ll try not to spend it too much, but we’ll see if I do. :P

Anyway, onto the exciting part of the log! At around 5:30 PM, I heard the familiar evolving sound. I looked at Ari’s screen, and saw...

6392F23C22EC44D6A34D.jpeg

A46E8B1379AD452F8475.jpeg

Yes! She evolved into a Yattatchi! She’s really cute, and reminds me of a whistle for some reason. Weird how she evolved into an adult in only 4 days- she’ll be 3 today, so I’m not sure when she’ll get a job or get married.

Now that Ari is an adult, I can use all her items! Here is her fish drawing from the pen and pencil...

754C636CBF5F41D28A4E.jpeg

I’m not sure how she can hear the music when the headphones are on her hands.

ABB643BB68414B4AB95A.jpeg

Here she is wearing the wig and bow. I like how it looks like she’s wearing a bunch of flowers on her head!

390D928196464987A931.jpeg

And lastly, Ari plays the drums.

2F915477D72D416C89BA.jpeg

I’m hoping she’ll leave school today and get a job- if not today, then tomorrow. I don’t want the matchmaker to come quickly, because I’d like to keep her for a bit longer.

That’s all for today! :kusatchi:

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums, been lurking for a few weeks now. I've always loved Tamagochis, have played the OG ones, Japanese ones, etc. Now my biggest obsession is the Tamagotchi On ☆♡ So I'm creating this log to keep track of my two current babies
I'll add pics in a minute (so expect lots of edits), this is just gonna be the ~format~ of how I talk about my babies I think!!
      Magical On ~ Switchi (Gen 4 | 2 y/o)

My first one, I got on my birthday of this year! Trying to get a spoopy lil baby ♡ Love the lil horns, but I eventually hope to get the witches broom body or the ghostie one!!!
      Fairy On ~ Mokumokutchi (Gen 1 | 1 y/o)

Got this one a few days ago!! Was already able to unlock all the locations on both tamas, with the exception of fairy land on this tama ♡  First gen since I did the restart trick to get the gym unlocked!

The thread is named split personality b/c not only do I want a super spoopy baby on my magic tama and a cutie  on my fairy one, but b/c my entire being is just being split between creepy and cute Hope you all enjoy my tama journey, please feel free to stop by and say hello!!

      Episode 1
Hello again everyone! Some of you may remember seeing me on this site in around 2017 and 2018. I tend to take long breaks from the venerable Tamagotchi, but I do surface every now and then, and now I'm back! I hope you've been well. In my previous logs, I ran a hefty amount of Tamagotchis (usually around 8 or so) but this time I have a smaller roster. I feel that this will make me less likely to "burn out" so early, like I did last time. It will also make this log easier to write, and will give you less baggage to read through. So I think it's a win-win! My ultimate goal for this log is to keep it sustainable and exciting, so I'll also cycle through my active Tamas from time to time and perform various evolution experiments. I hope you enjoy it!

You might have noticed the unusually specific title of this log; that's because I have an underlying goal to obtain ChoHimetchi on my active Version 2! Why ChoHimetchi, of all things? It's actually due to many reasons. Firstly, I haven't had it on a Version 2 since I was a kid, and I always thought it was a cool-looking character worth getting again. But it's also because it seems to be very elusive to me. I tried to get ChoHimetchi multiple times in my previous logs, but my attempts badly backfired (Most of the time, I landed on the right tier but got the more common Mimitchi instead!). As a result, ChoHimetchi seems to have been an ever-present goal that I have always failed to reach. I feel like Wile E. Coyote or the Team Rocket Trio, and I must settle this, once and for all!

As a result, this log will generally theme around my active Version 2 and the quest for ChoHimetchi, but it will also have some other Tamas with their own experiments to keep things varied. At the moment, I am running four units, which I think provides a decent balance. So, without further ado, let's introduce the gang!

Tamagotchi No. 1: Flowery Blue Version 2

This is the Version 2 that will be featured in my quest to get ChoHimetchi. This shell (which I think is supposed to represent an underwater theme) is very nostalgic to me because it originally belonged to my sister back when I got my first Tamagotchi, which was a green Version 2 that I have stored for now. For many years, this blue Tamagotchi was actually disassembled as a source of spare parts, but I restored it back to working condition in 2018 due to nostalgia. While it functions well enough, its speaker does not work and its infrared system is busted, meaning that it cannot connect to others (thank goodness for the Matchmaker!).

This Version 2 was the first one I re-started after my last hiatus; I did so shortly before Christmas so that I would have something to occupy myself with. I have run it non-stop since then, and it is now in its fifth generation. I had tried to get ChoHimetchi all this time but to no success. Currently, it has a 7 year-old Pochitichi named Dale, who just had a male baby this afternoon. Since ChoHimetchi is only obtainable on even generations, Dale's baby will be my only possible attempt for a couple of weeks.

In order to obtain ChoHimetchi, I must give the baby perfect care (especially in the Teenager stage) since the character is on the topmost tier on even generations. Then, when it evolves into an adult, I must blindly hope that ChoHimetchi is randomly chosen out of the three characters in the top tier. It can be a frustrating process! For my last two attempts (in the second and fourth generation, respectively), I tried to land on the top tier but instead got the middle tier due to accidental neglect. In fact, I actually got Dorotchi both times! So I'd better be very vigilant this time.

Tamagotchi No. 2: Ice Blue Version 4

Two of the other Tamas I am running at the moment are Version 4s. The main reason for this is due to an ongoing research project on the Version 4's growth chart, conducted by Maria&Co. and tamaninjacat. See the thread here:

I was very impressed by the headway they made in the research, so I decided to help them! This snowy blue Version 4 (which I have featured in my previous logs) is thus mostly being used to test theories that are being established in that thread.

Currently, this shell has a first-generation Harutchi named Mewtwo, whom I am using to test Child/Teenager evolution patterns. Today, I meant to give him two care mistakes through the Child stage (though instead I accidentally gave him three), and I will see whether this makes him a Mame family teen or a Meme one. It is generally established that Harutchi becomes either a Mame or Meme teen depending on the amount of care, but it is still unknown what exact numbers of care mistakes make what. There are similar mysteries with the Meme and Kuchi families as well, so I aim to help solve these questions in the future!

Tamagotchi No. 3: Sea Blue Version 4

This is the second Version 4 that I'm using for the evolution research project. While I started the other one from a clean slate, I decided to continue this one from where it left off to investigate the prominence of "family genes" in the Version 4. It turned out that the character was a 7 year-old Masktchi named Gina, who was actually all the way back from my first log. She became a Masktchi mostly because I accidentally left her unpaused when away, which led her getting neglected for a day. However, I found this useful for the research because it allows me to test how the Universal family affects "genes" in the Version 4.

Shortly after I had Gina running again, she got a Matchmaker visit and had a baby. Her partner was a Tosakatchi, so I will see if that partner brings Meme genes to the baby in the future. Once Gina leaves, I will experiment with the baby, just like Mewtwo, and report results.

Tamagotchi No. 4: Rainbow Version 4

Yes, my final Tamagotchi is yet another Version 4, but it is not being used for evolution research. Instead, it is for another purpose that I have continued on-and-off since my first log.

The Otokitchi in this shell is named Valma. She is currently aged 30 (in Tama-years of course), and I aim to get her over 90 years before breeding her with an Ojitchi. This, in theory, should make her one of the oldest parents of all time (though I doubt it will break the best record - someone has probably had an Ojitichi or Otokitchi breed over the age of 100). Nonetheless, it would still be a good achievement. While I can technically wait until she is well past 100, I do pause her regularly, so I will be unable to record her age after the two-digit counter fills up.

Valma is very easy to care for, though I do give her high priority to make sure she does not have a care mistake. In the Connection series, if a Senior takes care mistakes, they become more and more needy until they die. As a result, I must make sure that Valma does not take any care mistakes during her long run. If care mistakes are avoided entirely, Valma can theoretically live forever. There have been a few times when people have gotten Ojitchi or Otokitchi to live for hundreds of Tama-years!

Due to her age, Valma has an incredible amount of Intelligence points (I usually play Shape when playing on a Version 4). She'd make a Tensaitchi jealous!

Well, that's all for now! I aim to post this roughly to a weekly schedule, which will make it roughly once each generation. That will ensure that I have enough updates for each post. But until next time, have fun!

Tamagotchi On twins did not evolve today, because I spent too much time with the man visiting the app, go me!
Narcoleptic fits resulted in care misses in earlier generations.

    • By Penguin-keeper
I had originally felt burned by the Tamagotchi Meets when I first imported it, and I put it aside in irritation without going beyond the first generation. Recently, after enjoying so many Tamagotchi Meets/On logs around here, I felt that it was worth giving it another chance, so I grabbed some good batteries and started over, and soon grew to enjoy the device for what it is. The colour Tamagotchis represent a separate evolutionary line - their structure and gameplay are clearly descended from the Tamagotchi Game Boy game from 1997 - and I find that it helps to keep this in mind. That said, I still prefer the simpler Tamagotchis like the vintage devices and their re-releases, and the more recent Mini and Nano-based releases, as they're less time-consuming.
So here I am, starting a new log. I have previously found standard logging to be too time-consuming, so my focus here will be pictures of the parents and of their fully-grown offspring. For now, I'll be running my pink Fairy Version Meets, but I'm keeping an eye out to see if any more versions are localised, as I would like to support the English-language On releases, too. I have no interest in using the mobile app, so that won't be featured here, and I'll be skipping the baby, toddler, and teen stages, as I'm most interested in the final results of each pairing. I may also include pictures of new additions to my collection every now and then, such as the upcoming Pac-Man 40th Anniversary Tamagotchi, but I most likely won't be logging those.
So, without further ado, here's why this log is titled as it is: My first generation Tamagotchi was a male Gozarutchi. I changed his colour to pale yellow by feeding him five lemon pies at the restaurant, and shortly after that I had him marry Lovelitchi. They made a very cute couple!
      I'm actually not the biggest fan of Lovelitchi (I find her to be a bit on the generic-cutesy side), but it was obvious that the two's offspring would grow up to look adorable, and sure enough, they did;

Here's a picture showing Gozarutchi and Lovelitchi, along with their twin daughters, Lemonitchi and Pietchi - so named because of how recent Gozarutchi's dessert-induced colour-change had been at the time. They both turned out exactly how I expected them to, which was fun. They also both inherited their father's pale yellow colour, even though, at birth, Lemonitchi was yellow and Pietchi was white. The only difference between them as adults is that Lemonitchi's bag is white, and Pietchi's is yellow.
I'm planning to have Lemonitchi marry Kikitchi sometime tomorrow, so my next update will be once the next generation is fully grown. See you then!

I would have started this sooner, but I had to spend three excruciating hours finding my SD card adapter since I lost it and my computer doesn't have an SD card slot
Here's my very own log! The posts may be a bit long, but that's largely because I'm running seven tamas at once currently  Also, the order I'm listing them in may seem strange, but there's actually a reason for it; first three are my favourite ones. The next two are my sister's favourite ones. The last two are the ones I got for Christmas last year, listed at the end because they're the most recent ones I've obtained
Currently, I have to upload my images to the Tamagotchi wiki and link them here. I'll try to use Imgur as soon as I'm able to create an account tomorrow.
Also; apologies for the blurry picture quality. I don't have my own cell phone or a working camera, so I have to take them with my 3DS. The poor Winter lighting also has a part in it as well
      Chocolate Argyle V4.5

This is my favourite tama with a dead battery  The sounds were distorted-sounding and then it gave me this screen. Replaced the battery at 11:55 AM this morning.

Meet Tony, the Ura Young Mametchi! He's quite adorable in my opinion :3 Tomorrow, he's going to evolve into Ura Mametchi. Nothing particularly interesting happened to him today aside from the dead battery.
      STATS

      Skills: 70 Funny, 31 Gorgeous, 45 Spiritual
      Weight: 27 Pounds
Age: 1 Year (resetting a tama in any way prevents its age bar from changing that day)
      Generation: 9
      Pink Stripe V4

Meet Jaiden the Violetchi (her name is actually spelt as "Jaden" since the "i" wouldn't fit). As you can see, she has a cute little baby boy with her. She left him behind at midnight, but unfortunately I couldn't get any pictures of that  Nothing else particularly interesting happened to her today.

Meet Angie the Ura Young Marotchi. She evolved into Tsukkomitchi at 10:59 this morning, but I forgot to take any pictures  Nothing else particularly interesting happened to her today.

Meet Jacob the Gourmetchi. He started off as an energetic little MizuTamatchi; At 7:33 this evening, he evolved into that ice cream sandwich character we all know and love...

While he was still a young'n, I played Mimic with him a lot (I seem to be one of the few people who actually like that game ). For some reason, his kindness skill was building at a snail's pace. His intellectual and style skills, though, were rocketing

      Earth V4.5

Meet Ben the Tougyutchi. Two nights ago, I accidentially dropped this Tama, which caused the screen to blank. I pressed the reset button; several spooky, distorted beeps were heard. I pressed the button again. A few non-serious glitches happened (one of which was the tama still running while I briefly took out the battery ), but everything was normal. But he evolved an entire day after he was supposed to. Oh, by the way, he was a Kometchi (third time I've obtained him in the past month, I've really been on a lucky streak on the V4.5 ).

I find Tougyutchi wearing makeup too... too, wonderful to not share (Ura Kuchipatchi with makeup made me laugh out loud )

Meet Illy, the Kinakomotchi. She won't stay Kinakomotchi for very long; she's scheduled to evolve shortly after her wake-up time tomorrow! She started her time in my care this morning, after her mother, a ChoHimetchi named Jazz, left her alone. Tamas are really lousy parents

Yikes, you can barely read that text...

Meet Max, the Butterflytchi. He married Jaiden the Violetchi just yesterday, and like her, he left behind his sweet little baby boy at midnight (again, I couldn't get any pictures ).
I tried having him draw with a pencil, but he drew a blank... literally and figuratively

Wow, that took a lot longer than I thought it would! Sorry I don't have much to report today, maybe from now on I'll only report the interesting stuff.
Hope you enjoyed reading; if you did, there's definitely more to come. I promise it'll be more interesting next time

Hello there! I decided to track some of my little berry's new adventures. Of course, he fell asleep right before I thought to take pictures. Maybe I'll come back and make this post a little nicer soon~
