I’ve recently purchased a tamagotchi devil from eBay. It is brand new, so I hope that its screws will not yet be damaged, but I know that there is an issue with the devil’s screws becoming broken in such a way that the back of the tamagotchi cannot be removed. For this reason, I plan to take out the screws once it arrives and hopefully to replace them with some modern screws. Can anyone with a tamagotchi devil advise on what they did with theirs? I’m not sure which screws will be appropriate to use. I also heard that I might need a JIS screwdriver to get the original screw off, but I am not sure what size.
