Had the urge to bust out my old tamagotchi and everything is pretty straight forward except I don’t remember how to access the store. I have looked in my games but there is only dance and jump. My Tama just turned into a teenager (not sure if age has anything to do with it). Any advice would be a big help.

That sounds like a Connection V1 to me. The V2 has the games Jump, Bump, Heading and Slot.
V1s don't have shops nor do they have Points for money. Easy mistake though as they look identical
