I haven't won the bidding yet, these two pics are from the seller. The screen looks strange here...

A broken virtual pet? lol Doesn't look like a pet...it looks like a blob, which sometimes happens when pixelated screens start to malfunction.

Or when they've been squashed. 😕

That looks like an ink stain of some sort.

When an LCD screen has pressure put on it, it can cause breakage which will let the liquid-crystals leak out. It's more commonly seen looking like a pool of ink, though.

Oh, that makes a lot of sense.

Yikes! :o

I've never had it happen to a device of mine, but I've seen some interesting reactions from people who didn't know that these displays use liquid-crystals, and it usually comes down to them being shocked by there being "ink" in there.

Is there anything on the back? If there is a picture of the back of the device, is it possible to share it? It could have release dates on it and/or the company’s name that manufactured it, so that would be easier and then we might be able to start looking into it.

Nice! Has the seller tested the unit? I'd be worried that the screen wouldn't work due to the leakage.

Considering they're selling it as if it were a Tamagotchi, I doubt they know or even care if it works.
