Which modern Tama is best?

I am new here. Basically I have just bought a vintage 1997 v1 Tama. I used to have one and wanted to show my now 9 year old son the tech that was available then. I then decided to look at what versions they are and there seems to be loads. I wondered if i was to buy another one what would you recommend? I would like to see how they've developed. Ideally I would buy 1 of each version but that's not possible right now. I feel like such a kid haha. It's fun collecting things for me to show my own children though especially with how advanced toys and tech are now

Since the vintage ones there has been a lot of relases as you may know now.

I will devide them into three diffrent groups: 

1- Vintage Tamagotchis

2- Connection/Plus relases 

3- Modern/Colored versions
