So I keep trying to send my Tama to the hotel or the parents house, but it won’t let me. The option is still there but I can’t select like ya know when it’s grey. someone help me please I don’t have time to take care of it

 
I assume that you're using the Tamagotchi On?

If so, you cannot use the parents' house until Generation 2 (because on Generation 1, there aren't any), and if memory serves (it's been a while) you cannot use the hotel until it is an adult.
