My Little Virgin:

~Protagonists have symbols on their...you know what.
~Main Protagonist Twilight Sparkle was once a reserved bookworm, and became a Mary Sue after gaining wings.
~Main Protagonist doesn't have any significant male ponies worthy of ship fanart.
~Kind is pretty much the same species with only two exceptions, Spike and maybe Discord.
~Has a rabid adult male fanbase who will cause a tsunami of backlash should any criticism be drawn against it.
~Animated through choppy flash.
~Had 222 episodes in the span of 9 years, suffered seasonal rots worse than SpongeBob.
~Was preceded by 3 other similar shows, and as such isn't anything too special for longtime MLP fans.
~Got a movie that wasn't much better.
~Franchise didn't spawn any edgier counterpart that would appeal to boys.
~Has to compete with Transformers, GI Joe, and several other brands to represent Hasbro.
~Represents a company that's trying to make a monopoly (no pun intended) out of merchandising, and has little to no regard for the importance of competitors.
~Speaking of, their company has had no business with Power Rangers until 2018.
~Has had no notable crossovers worth mentioning (the abundance of fanart doesn't count).

Tamagotchad!:

~Protagonists don't need symbols due to already being awesome.
~Main Protagonist Mametchi has balanced strengths and weaknesses. He's fiercely intelligent and has exceptional manners, but it took 100+ episodes for him to sing decently, and his artwork and inventions aren't much better despite the latter being his pastime.
~Main Protagonist has numerous cute females his age worthy of ship fanart; the planet's biggest celebrity, a princess from another planet who is head-over-heels in love with him, and a calm-minded beautiful girl from the future, just to name a few.
~Kind represents all kinds of things, from animals to blobs to plants to buildings to even entire planets.
~Has a microscopic fanbase due to being so obscure outside Japan; they're generally chill and respect opinions.
~Animated by experienced animators at OLM of Pokemon fame.
~Had 271 episodes in the span of 5 years, maintained 95% of its charm and quality throughout its run.
~The first television adaption of the titular virtual pets; took the source material to a whole 'nother level.
~Got two movies prior to the show, both of which are just as good.
~Franchise spawned Digimon, which challenged Pokemon and is one of the few franchises to make a dent in its reign.
~Single-handedly represents Bandai. Not only does the Main Protagonist have a statue in front of their Tokyo HQ, but it also gets a dedicated raincoat.
~Represents a company that just wants to spread real joy, is not trying to form a monopoly.
~Up until 2018, every piece of merchandise related to Power Rangers was made by their company, and their company continues to support the source material, Super Sentai, to this day.
~Franchise crossed over with Sanrio, Pokemon, Pac-Man, and more. Main Protagonist even personally went kart racing with Thad Mario at one point.

Where's your Power Rangers Lightning Collection now, Hasbro?
