For some reason my pet gets swirly tears eyes and becomes upset when eating a certain rice dish. He is fine eating dessert. Is this a glitch or something normal? Why does he suddenly hate it after transforming?

 
All adult tamas refuse to eat this dish. Try to earn some points and go to the restaurant to feed him.

You can also buy food from the locations and you will have it in your refrigerator.
