Tamagotchi ON Wonder Garden

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

So I found a tidbit of info where I worked searching items. I was surprised to see this with a sku and everything however it wasn't for sale or preorder, so I'm wondering if there will be a announcement soon. From what I saw it's only 2 colors which was lavender and turquoise.

EDIT: So I believed it had a placement release date but I dont want to say too much since I'm not sure if its accurate.

Excellent post - just what I like to see! :)

There was that showing at the New York Toy Fair earlier in the year, which this would line up with, right?

You fond the on fantasy! Tell us about the date please, everyone knows that it's not official. But it can maybe gives an indication. Bandai teased new on for fall. Is it close to that?

From what I understand it will. Be late July when its released, so about the same time as the previous ON launch.

Yes! This for sure was the same one! However there was no images but the description was TURQUOISE and LAVENDER, which is the same as the other 2 fantasy meets!

But where I work doesn't always get up to date info, and the fact there was no preorder date was concerning so it may be a upcoming announcement soon or a delay.

I'll keep yall posted since I dont get many shifts due to COVID-19

This is so exciting, thanks for the information! Hopefully this means that the On has done well enough for them to release another spin-off. It's a bit worrying that there haven't been any official announcements, though. Has anyone heard anything yet?

I was gonna buy a magical On, but with this news I'm not sure if I should wait it out to see if this version will be even better... :P or maybe less expensive, although I doubt it.

I havent seen any updates since I've gone in. From what I can gather from the unofficial announcements and few images I have found is that its exactly the same as the meets version (fantasy) its price point 59.99usd. That's all the info I have found. I do recommend buying the magic or fairy on while you wait since places like target sell at a lower price point and folks will be reselling the moment they announce. All the variants are fun but if you do decide to wait it should be for sale at varying retailers. If I can get a list I'll post it here.

TL;DR

Price point that I saw on it is officially $59.99 USD

There will be select retailers carrying. So far gamestop may be one.

Exactly the same as its original; the fantasy meets. Just an english translation.

It's due late July

Y'know, this has been bugging me for a bit: I'm wondering why they changed the name from Fantasy to Wonder Garden. They left Fairy and Magic alone.

Same here! It has me thinking that maybe there is something else to differentiate it between the Fantasy... I'm not sure what Wonder Garden relates to in the device. Something to do with the Alice in Wonderland location maybe? It doesn't really make sense though.

I Hope it's because they will make a fantasy+ easter+ sweets. Japanese market is easy. But, to convince US people to spend 60 $ in a tamagotchi, with the same gameplay, one year later, with only two differents locations...

This right here is why I suspect that the UK hasn't gotten the On at all. :P

Same to me. European will not pay the price of a smartphone for this... Back to last summer, french media spoke about the release of the on in France. And in all articles they said it was expensive for just a toy. So i really thought it will come on europe but no. After the fail of the nano and the bad media coverage, maybe bandai decided to avoid our part of the world.

It's purposeful propaganda. These journalists didn't have a problem paying the same €60 plus lootboxes for Overwatch etc. Bandai keeps falling for it.

Bandai will be officially announcing it on June the 11th, but Wal-Mart was ready to list it! :D

I am glad to see us getting something a little different than Japan with the face plate!

***EDIT***

I finally found a photo sharing site that worked XD

I have all 8 pictures saved, so I can post them If anyone else is interested. It is basically just 3 angels of the box, one frontal view of the device and 4 side views with different screens.

I had originally felt burned by the Tamagotchi Meets when I first imported it, and I put it aside in irritation without going beyond the first generation. Recently, after enjoying so many Tamagotchi Meets/On logs around here, I felt that it was worth giving it another chance, so I grabbed some good batteries and started over, and soon grew to enjoy the device for what it is. The colour Tamagotchis represent a separate evolutionary line - their structure and gameplay are clearly descended from the Tamagotchi Game Boy game from 1997 - and I find that it helps to keep this in mind. That said, I still prefer the simpler Tamagotchis like the vintage devices and their re-releases, and the more recent Mini and Nano-based releases, as they're less time-consuming.
So here I am, starting a new log. I have previously found standard logging to be too time-consuming, so my focus here will be pictures of the parents and of their fully-grown offspring. For now, I'll be running my pink Fairy Version Meets, but I'm keeping an eye out to see if any more versions are localised, as I would like to support the English-language On releases, too. I have no interest in using the mobile app, so that won't be featured here, and I'll be skipping the baby, toddler, and teen stages, as I'm most interested in the final results of each pairing. I may also include pictures of new additions to my collection every now and then, such as the upcoming Pac-Man 40th Anniversary Tamagotchi, but I most likely won't be logging those.
So, without further ado, here's why this log is titled as it is: My first generation Tamagotchi was a male Gozarutchi. I changed his colour to pale yellow by feeding him five lemon pies at the restaurant, and shortly after that I had him marry Lovelitchi. They made a very cute couple!
      I'm actually not the biggest fan of Lovelitchi (I find her to be a bit on the generic-cutesy side), but it was obvious that the two's offspring would grow up to look adorable, and sure enough, they did;

Here's a picture showing Gozarutchi and Lovelitchi, along with their twin daughters, Lemonitchi and Pietchi - so named because of how recent Gozarutchi's dessert-induced colour-change had been at the time. They both turned out exactly how I expected them to, which was fun. They also both inherited their father's pale yellow colour, even though, at birth, Lemonitchi was yellow and Pietchi was white. The only difference between them as adults is that Lemonitchi's bag is white, and Pietchi's is yellow.
I'm planning to have Lemonitchi marry Kikitchi sometime tomorrow, so my next update will be once the next generation is fully grown. See you then!

I really love the way my Tama evolved! It inspired me to draw a piece with them and their dog(?), Frost.

Firstly thank you for reading my Log ! Please let me know if you would like me to do anything particular ect.
Today I decided to run the tamagotchi on magic version. I continued on from where i was last time because i remembered that i had adults so i can still have the generation link. So i never know what to do about naming the tama because its not as easy to know whether its a girl or boy , and even though i used the mymeets app i still cant remember - woops ! It has now called to me for the second dose of medication so hopefully it will be evolving pretty soon ! I will update when it evolves !

Welp, I'm back. It's been many years since I joined Tamatalk (under a different name) and several since I last visited. Aside from a brief stint with a Tamagotchi Gudetama, I haven't been a tama mama in quite some time, but I recently received a Magic Tamagotchi On as a gift and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I especially love the large variety of tamas and the excitement of waiting to see what they look like as they grow. Evolution happens so quickly with the Tamagotchi On,  I thought keeping a log would be a great way to remember all of my babies.
I got my Tama-On June 25th and I'm now on generation 3. I have just a few photos from the first two generations so as soon as I remember how to post photos properly, I'll do a single post for each generation and go from there. Yay!

Rest in Peace my latest devil, Kuridebitchi. Had a lot of fun with that little guy, almost a full month lol.

I'm going to put away the devil for a bit and play more with the Tamagotchi On since I'm having a lot of fun with it.
At first, I was trying to recreate a DevilMametchi on my On, but wasn't very successful so I decided to move away from that and be more open-minded. The On is a lot more fun if you just go with the flow and see what happens, there is always a pleasant surprise to be had
Here's my second generation family tree with the DevilMametchi attempts

This is my current generation, seven

I had just married my previous girl to Kuromametchi and then I got this little guy...who was considerate enough to leave all you viewers a nice little surprise on the floor

He seemed pretty upset by it, but then he moved on with his day

don't worry, I cleaned it up and fed him after the second picture haha

One thing I like most about the On is that you really don't know what you're gonna get. The red hair of this guy popped up out of nowhere, the last time there was red in the family tree was generation two. It went dormant, then came back again to my surprise, which I really like.

His name is Mitatchi, he should be growing into adult sometime tomorrow and I'm eager to see what happens
