In 2011 and 2020, there have been reports about a French dub of Tamagotchi! supposedly existing. Judging by the details, here is what they said:
I have yet to confirm all this speculation, but if anyone knows about or has seen the anime in French, please let me know in the replies.
- It aired circa 2011 on Gulli.
- Only the first anime (the one that had 143 episodes) seems to have been dubbed.
- Two dubs supposedly exist; one seems to have stuttering voice actors and the other seems to have text-to-speech voices.
- The songs were dubbed without music, and OrbitIsCool described Smile for Tomorrow "sounding like a devil chant", but that's his opinion.
I have yet to confirm all this speculation, but if anyone knows about or has seen the anime in French, please let me know in the replies.
