Cyberkitty - cant change time?

Hey all, just got a Gigapet Cyberkitty, and I cant seem to change the time.  When I first started, I accidentally entered the time at the default, and the instructions I find keep saying to hit the enter button when the time is displayed to change it, but the nothing happens but a beep.

When I reset, I dont get an option to set the time.

Am I doing something wrong?

It wouldn't be such a big deal if I didnt work lol

As far as I know, there are two versions of Giga Pets cat - one uses the Giga Pets programming, but the other uses Nano Pals programming instead. Do you know which one yours is, by any chance?

Not sure, but that's something I'll look into.  I got it at an anime convention dealer that sells vintage virtual pets like this, so I dont have the instructions or original packaging.

It's a weird bit of trivia, really!

Here: These (from here) are the instructions for setting the time on a Nano Puppy, but the same applies to the other Nanos as well. Do these work?
