yeah. eventually dirt will lodge in the crack and you will have to buy a new one.

 
Yeah but it will never feel the same.In fact it is an oceanotchi.That makes it worse.

 
Oceanotchi is a rare tamagotchi that is only sold in ebay.com or japan.I bought it in japan.Go to mimitchi.com to look it up.
