Okay, your Tamagotchi will probably become a teen in a day or so, be patient! You can usually tell that evolution time is coming when you have a toddler that is 1 year old. Turn the sound on and listen for the evolution tune!

Did you keep it on pause? If you do that, it will slow down evolution. check how old it is. Is it one? you probably got mixed up with the adult and teen if it's 3 years old
