I just got a tamagotchi and it is version 2: stripes w/ purple, pink, and orange stripes, and I have a question. My tamagotchi is a girl and she is 0. She has this little black thing floating above her. What is it? Also, how old do you have to be for your tamagotchi to be able to play games? Also, how do you enter a secret code? Thank you so much for answering this. :D

 
this "black think, does it look like a skull? or a cloud thing? and your tamagotchi can play games whenever it is born, just make sure its not hungary or underweight, try feeding it snacks if its not hungary. And to enter codes you go to the shop and at the shop keeper you press the a button 3 tines fast and he will look suprised, then you punch in the code.
