By accident, my son (yeah even us "old" people like to have fun) dropped my Tama. Now I just have a black screen. I took out the battery, but that didn't help. Any suggestions..... I miss my friend

Try putting a new battery in and you could try to reset it or it is broken.

Resetting should help, but if the screen is still messed up afterwards, you should be able to exchange it for a new one if you saved the packaging.

Reset, if all else fails. Then, exchange at the store for a new Tama. Sorry. :D

like others have said, reset it. i doubt the store will let you exchange it because it's not the stores fault it broke...sorry.
Most stores are pretty good about exchanges. If this person shows that the unit doesn't work properly, they should be able to replace it.
