Batteries just don't seem to last. And when they do run out I can never find them in any shops? Can you? But I have a trick... as soon as your battery runs out screw the back off, get the battery out and dry it. Even if it's not wet, dry it. But DON'T get it in sand or mud! Your battery should work for a little longer.

 
you should be able to find the batteries in most drugstores/electronics stores/hardware stores.

By the Walgreens by Raley's, is SF (an asian store.) Go there. This guy by the jewelery has a lot of those small, flat batteries that are for Tamas, watches, Etc. Hope this helped! :wacko:

 
My tama batteries run out after about 5 generations.
