I'm not sure what you mean by "the jod thing". Sorry.
But, I do know some other stuff...
To put in the passwords, you go to the games icon, click it, and scroll down to "password". Then you just scroll through the numbers to enter the password you get off of TamaTown.
Since I only got my V3 a few days ago, I don't really know many of the characters, but to see what they look like and what their names are, go to Rivenn's Tamadex V3.

Well V3 has 6 games - Get, Bump, Flag, Heading, Memory and Sprint.... you can donate points to the king to get a ring, cape and crown.... you can choose from different foods in the food icon.... you can view your tamas that died and the ones that were the parent of your tama.... so, yeah.
