Tamagotchi Battery Question!

Ok.

So, I know Tamagotchis take CR2032 Batteries.

Now, this question will be kind of confusing, so keep your eyes open and on the words! h34r:

My Tamagotchi ran out of batteries. I have more batteries, but I do not want to lose my Tamagotchi while putting the batteries in and resetting.

Everytime I download, the batteries become low again in like 5 minutes after I download. So, the big important question is..

Is there any way that I can put new batteries in, and not lose my old Tamagotchi?

I know, but rumors say you have to reset your tamagotchi to get the new battery working

No. . .all you have to do is when the egg is on the screen push the middle button and select DOWNLOAD, and your old tama will be on the screen
