its not very impostant but i have always wondered. well ur tamaturns to the left and opens it mouth and that sign appears its the sign that appears when your tama turns around and then it goes...

It's kind of hard to tell what you are talking about..but tamagotchis do many strange and interesting things when they are left idle, this could be one of them? It has no effect on your game at all, don't worry..

 
It's one of the many animations that Tamagotchis do. It's yawning. If it's colse to it's bedtime, It'll yawn. Go to the light icon and turn them off. Your Tamagotchi will fall asleep early.
