Ouchie. Never heard of this happening before....must be a glitch then. The parent DOES NOT LEAVE WHEN ITS AN OLDIE. It leaves two midnights after the baby is born. I suggest you restart you tamagotchi or wait until the father passes away. I hoped I helped!
