i have seen SOOOO many posts on these costumes that people think are stuffed animals. they put it on, freak out and suddenly want their original tamagotchi back.

but instead of SEARCHING THE SITE FOR AN ANSWER, they're being extremely lazy and they just post the question.

i searched "costume" and found TEN LINKS that had the solution to the "costume problem."

the thing is that those ten solutions were only on the first page. there were 13 pages of posts.

come on people.. this is getting really stupid.

STOP BEING LAZY.

SEARCH YOUR TOPIC BEFORE YOU POST.

LOOK FOR AN ANSWER !!!

people say that if you dont want to read something on a certain topic, not to read it. though i agree with this, its HARD !!

people are posting stuff titled "OMG HELP MEEEEEE!" and "SOMEBODY HELP ME PLZ!" and "THIS IS IMPORTANT!! SOMEBODY PLZZZ HELPP!".

i open it, thinking its something that someone really needs help with, but i find out its just the same old topic ive replied to many other times.

im tired of this.

i cant take it.

i like being on tama talk because i get my questions answered and i get to help other people but i really am sick and tired of this.

i dont want anybody to hate me.

i dont want anybody to stop talking to me because im posting this.

what i do want is for people TO STOP BEING LAZY AND SEARCH.

I agree but I think people are trying to post new ideads instead of just replying to the older topics.

yeah, so more can post. if u search, u may have found a bumped topic then posted in it.

No need to make a topic about it.

If you don't like it, don't read it.

its so annoying :ichigotchi: :ichigotchi:  ! i also hate it when pepl say plz help! aaahhhhhhhh!!!!this is so ugly! wat happened! im fine with wen they say :any clue on how to get the costume off? , my tamagotchi is in the costume....how do you take it off? , or anything with the word COSTUME.i agree , nicko_x3 , its abnoxiose and ppl should look for an answer. i look and if i dont find ANYTHING then i post. like about the tv hat.

Yes, i must agree that it is getting annoying but you shouldn't be so harsh. Maybe someone new to Tamatalk made the mistake of asking that question but THEN went ahead and read your topic and read you complaining and calling the people who didn't know lazy. You should be more careful, you could of hurt somone's feelings. We want to keep tamatalk a happy and friendly community right?

We dont want some of new members feeling sad that they did one little thing wrong do we? So, next time, can you try to be a little more nice about what your angry about and TRY not to hurt others feelings. Oh yes, just as Chocosilver said, "If you dont like it, why read it?"

Thanks

dude. Chill. Some people are NEW here, and even if they arent, we're not being LAZY.

So just lay off! We're just trying to find info the fun way. Talking to people.

i have tried that. ill read somebodys post and they'll say "im new and i need help with..." and ill give them the answer and tell them to search next time but they post more and more questions that have already been answered.

i dont mean to be super harsh but im TIRED OF THIS !!!

and you say that if i dont like it, i shouldnt read it.

PAY ATTENTION. I SAID SOMETHING ABOUT THAT IN MY ORIGINAL POST!

like it says, i like helping people on here. so i go into posts that are titled with a beg for help.. but its the same question ive answered many many many times.

Most of them are new members who are not fimiliar w/ Tamatalk's forums.

Don't be too hard on them. If you dont like it, don't read it.

A lot of people here are trying to get used to posting, etc. You should PM a Guide to delete the repeats, if neccesary. If not the you should just leave the Topic/ Post alone. It will sure help the Guides and Admin if you did not make a post about it, saying something like: " Can a Guide please delete these repeats", because the Guides will also have to delete the one you made to keep the topic on track!

I know, it does get annoying.

But everyone has to out up with it, and the last thing people want to hear when they do the wrong thing is to have someone yell at them. They are just trying to get help for their Tamagotchi ASAP. And thats what Tama Talk is made for ; to help people.

Its easy enough to simply answer their question, and leave a link to either a FAQ page, or a topic explaining that. And tell them to search next time in a nice way. You have to give people respect, to get respect.

Most of all, we dont want members to feel hurt, or sad for asking a genuine question.. As I already stated above, Tama Talk is here so members can help other members. Its okay to be annoyed at it, but dont criticize people for asking questions, if you dont ask questions you dont learn.

Im sure when you were a new member you asked something, which has already been answered, or discussed, and someone answered it politely. Same with me, when I came here I asked questions.. Most people do.

Basically what it comes down to is patience. Answer peoples questions and be friendly

EVERYBODY, STOP TELLING ME THAT !!!

ive explained this many times. DO YOU PEOPLE NOT READ ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!

if the title was, "hey, i have a question thats been answered multiple times" i wouldnt read it. but i open the ones begging for help. the ones titled with OMG HELP MEE and PLEASE HELPPP and WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?! and OMGGG I NEEEED HELLLPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

i dont expect to open it up and find a question thats been answered MANY TIMES.

and haze -- NO. I DIDNT.

when i joined tamatalk, i asked questions that i couldnt find the answer too. i looked around first. i thought, "hey, a lot of people ask questions. maybe somebody asked about this already." i found alot of my answers by READING other peoples posts first.

I dont want to cause any arguements here, I stick by what I said before. Its easy enough to help people :furawatchi:

Well, I beleive you did in this thread here, even though the two questions you asked had been aksed previously, the people who answered you were polite and specific.)

https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/index.php?showtopic=71551&hl=

There have been many other questions like that before :furawatchi:

So as I said before, most people who are new here do ask questions which have been asked previously many times, and thats fine. People first instinct when they dont know what is happening, or how to do something, is to ask.
