Okay, at my birthday party yesterday, one of my friends who has 2 tamagotchis got soaked in punch, along with her tamagotchis. One was fine, but the other went bad.
So, in desperate times, we searched TamaTalk and found that we should take out the battery and let it dry. (Also, I saw a little Debug circle so if I ever debug my tama I know where to go. ) Everything went fine when we put the battery back in until my friend set down the tama and it reset. She reset the time instead of downloading and lost her 4th generation.
Hours later we discovered the juice wore down the batteries, and thanks to the back-up her tamagotchi is okay.
