Codes are specifically for the Tamagotchi Connection/Connexion Version 2.
In Version 2 you're able to go shopping for items for your Tamagotchi, and there are certain button combinations you can press to get free secret items.

Well, if you live in the UK or Australia, then they are out in your countries and you can probably find them in your local department stores. But if you live in the US they haven't been released yet here, so you'll have to wait another month or so before you will see them on the store shelves.
You could always try eBay though, they usually have like 30 listings on at a time, some are fair priced. It's always worth a look.
