Do points and presents go from one gen

I'm asking this because I've got 12 items (music, hair potion,love potion, boots, ball, bubbles, pencil, sunglasses, darts, trumpet, pc, ufo) and I will not be happy if I don't have them from one generation to the next.

Another question I have is:

Is it normal that when my Young Mametchi only heads my ball three times it just stops playing? Do your Tamagotchis V2 do that? When it jumps and falls (animations) it only does it twice and stops so I'm not sure if my Tama works properly or not or if that is what they do! Please, fast replies!

Sorry, no. I'm on generation 9 with one of my tamagotchis, and I got a million presents with my first pet, but now the're all gone.

They DO keep their items from gen to gen. Points too. Maybe cherryblossom has a version 1?

V1 doesn't have points though... Maybe she just means the gifts that you can get from Connecting...
