I lost my tamgotchi on Sunday and I found it under my book. And he was dead :( . I pushed the reset button and on the the screen was the egg, after 5 min, it still won't hatch!! I'm afraid to select the reset option, any ideas? :D

 
Do 'reset'. Then press the 'b' button.

You should have the option to 'download' or 'reset'. Do 'reset'. (If your tamagotchi died, which I'm pretty sure is your case.)

 
Just do reset, because you won't keep your souvenirs and stuff even if you hold A and C. I don't think. And your Tamagotchi is more likely to glitch up if you hold A and C. Like the famous ball glitch where your items turn into food.

Your Tamagotchi will only hatch if you have set the time. It takes about a minute and a half to hatch.

 
You have to set the clock before your tamagotchi hatches. It won't hatch if the date and time aren't right so that maybe your problem. Hope I helped.
