If your Tama and your friend's Tama mate, will the Babies turn out to be the adult versions of their parents (like genetics)? Or does it solely depend on how you care for them?

 
A bit of both, usually if you get a bad character, you're not going to get a Mimitchi in your next generation. It's mostly how you care for them though. =)
