How Do I Turn Off My Tamagotchi?!

Please help! I AM WASTING MY BATTERY!
[SIZE=12pt]Well you cant turn off your Tamagotchi but you are allowed to pause it.[/SIZE]
To pause your Tama,
Hold the A and the B button. (First two buttons)
You will be brought to the screen,
PAUSE
YES
NO
Select "Yes" to pause your Tama, and to un-pause it hit A and B agian,
and hit "No".
But remember when you pause it,
It will stop the evolution of your Tama, and stop you from getting mail (V4).

sorry you can't! you can only put it to sleep! the batteries will work for about 3 months and the batteries you can find at target!

you don't turn off your tamagotchi.. you need to change the battery..
do it quickly though.. before you lose your tamagotchi

nope sorry you can't turn off a tamagotchi. But if you really want it to shut off then take out the battery. maybe
