Sorry if this has been asked/answered already; but I can't seem to find it - the infa-red thing where you connect to other Tamagotchi's; do you have to be really close to the other person's Tamagotchi, or could you be out somewhere and someone realises you've got one, and does whatever it is to activate it?

 

I don't know yet what happens with the infa-red thing so I probably don't make a lot of sense lol!

 
Hi there. The tamagotchis have to be facing each other when they're connecting, and the distance can't be too far away, but I tried it with a distance of a little over a feet and the connection worked fine.

they both have to be on that connecting thing /standby thing...yeah so yeah

 
oh...you cant connect umless u both are doing the stand by thing at the same time! ok?

 
That's okay then lol - see, shows how stupid I am. Maybe I should have waited til tomorrow when I get the actual thing, and read the instructions... lol!
