Why at school there is only ever one teacher there which offers me a pensil as a pressent? Why arn't there any others???

It's not a pencil, it's a skill point. All the other teachers will offer you different skill points until you get a job. (You need about 50 points per skill to get the job you want)

There are three teachers. You get one chance to choose which one you want. When you open the [!] that takes you to school for the first time, the turtle teacher will appear. If you press the A (left) button he will go away and a different teacher will appear. You can press the A button again if you want to select another different teacher. Press the B (middle) button when you see the teacher you want. Or, if you don't press any buttons for a little while, whichever teacher is on the screen is selected to be yours. Once the selection is made, you can't change it.

when you are a child and you first go to school you can press button a to choose a new teacher. press button b to confirm. When you play the game, you will play for a different prize and get different skill points
