okay, so my tama was a hairdresser, the matchmacker came, I got a baby, it has been about a day, I just got a [!] in the mail so I opened it up and my tamagotchi just got a job offer, so now it is a chef, I did not think they could change jobs, please tell if you know what is going on!. :( :D

 
Major glitch. Normally when you get the [ ! ] letter again, it will tell you to go to work. If it happens again, then it's probably Bandai's test one. Not sure.

Perfectly normal! :( Tamagotchis are lucky like us... they don't have to stick with one job for their entire life. At some point in adulthood, your tama will be offered the opportunity to get another job... just to mix things up a little.
