hello, everyone!! forgive me if this is not the correct board to post this in, but i'm super excited! after a while of experimenting with my first tamagotchi, she finally got married to another tama in the ON app (before it shuts down </3) and got married, and she had twins~!

everybody please give a warm welcome to ichigotchi and baniratchi! (ichigotchi is the pink one- baniratchi is the white one! it's kind of hard to tell on the image; sorry about that!)

Oh, that's really exciting! I think Twins are a bit rare, too! Congratulations. I'd love to see how they look when they grow up! :mametchi:

GROWTH UPDATE! sorry for the double post, but they've evolved into their teen stage!! i must've accidentally made a few care mistakes while i was away for the day, but they're still as adorable! i've been feeding them plenty of cream puffs, so hopefully they'll be able to grow into nijifuwatchis~

hmm... so a bit of a disappointing update. i tried my best to evolve these two into nijifuwatchis, but they ended up turning into lovelitchis instead... i'm not sure why, i fed them cream puffs plenty of times, and i definitely made a few care mistakes. and, to be honest, i don't care for how they look fully evolved... anyone have any ideas on why this is? maybe it's because of their lovelitchi genes?

Don't feel too bad! They are quite unique! And I actually think they're quite cute. happy2

It's been a while, so I may be misremembering this (my apologies if I am!), but I seem to recall that only the first generation on the Meets/On can be evolved into a specific character, and then everyone else's looks are determined by inheritance, with quality of care supposedly able to impact which elements get inherited. Foods that can make an impact tend to only relate to colour, at that point.

yikes, really...? well, i really appreciate the answer!! so if i were to raise a lovelitchi with someone else's tamagotchi, it would just depend on how i raise them to decipher which one's genetics will get inherited? that's very confusing... if you find any detailed explanations for this, please let me know!! i also would like to learn more about the color system.
