Hi, my name is Rachel, I'm 28. I can't believe I'm back here! I wanted to come back and do a log like the good old days. I was a pretty active member here between the ages of 11-18, but I don't remember my log in info and who knows what my 11 year old mind might have posted that I don't need to re-read, haha. I've been casually collecting and playing with Tamas my whole life and I use to really love logging here! So many hours of my childhood playing forum thread games and obsessively logging my little v4.5. Feels cool to come back!

Welcome back! What other tamas are in your collection? I’m 38 and have my original P1s and Tamagotchi Angel. I have since collected P2/G1/G2s, several connections, Pix, On and several Nanos. I collect English releases. Other folks say it’s easy to work through the Japanese language, but I would rather be able to read it, plus it keeps my collection in check haha!

I totally agree! I have a few Japanese ones, my ID-L was the one I loved the most and was able to work the easiest but I think it's always more enjoyable to read it in my language 😅

I've been collecting the re-releases too, I try to get most of the shells I like, and also have a lot the the little 20th anniversary minis! I *try* to keep some in boxes but sometimes when I'm having a bad day I open and start them to cheer myself up lol.

I have a +Color, ID-L, ON and I got a Pix for Christmas. I keep coming back to the more old-school style ones though. I still have a few from my childhood: a music star, a v4.5, a v2 (my personal favorite version) and I still have the first Tama that really kicked off my obsession, a very sun damaged blue camo v3. I use to have a lot more connections when I was younger, I use to get them as gifts from my mom and I bought them when they were still in stores, but when I was 18 or 19, I sold quite a few on eBay and I kind of regret it! But whoever bought them from me really got a bargain 😅

Oh yeah, I have a bunch of minis too. They are easy and fun. I take all of mine out of the boxes, and they all go into a storage container. I would rather remove the battery and keep them safe out of the box than to leave it all factory sealed and never use it.

I also started collecting the 20th Anniversary Digimon and Digimon X. I only played them a little so far, but they are fun. My 5-year-old is raising a Gigapet T-Rex right now and doing a good job with it. I think he will be into Digimon with me when he is older so I collected some for him too. I got a Gigapet Unicorn for myself to raise alongside his T-Rex and it’s cute and fun. The latest version of Gigapet doesn’t have the AR feature. I’m glad they removed it actually. I like the simplicity and not needing a phone for all the features.

I used to have an English iD L. When I got the new Pix and On I didn’t have interest to fix the capacitator, so I sold it recently on eBay. No regrets 🤑
