Hi World! Hope you all are chilling and enjoying whatever that you are doing while/after/before reading this 😊. I have a very basic question... since I have a Pacman version and a Pix as well, the one thing that I havent yet figured out is, how to conveniently carry it/them with me? Your knowledge, discoveries, and innovations shall help a lot ! Much love and peace!

pacman has the junky ball chain, so i swapped it out with a lanyard strap. i put the ball chain in a safe place with a label so i can remember what it goes to later. i was never able to find these lanyard bits on their own so i found these the cheapest, and cut the ‘finger lanyard’ portion off then i connect it to a regular lanyard with a clasp.

for the pix i like the hard case in the link below. it comes with a similar lanyard thing itself, again i cut it off of what it came with and can connect it to a lanyard of my choice. lots of people like the silicone covers too, but i prefer without that.

i don’t wear the pix on a lanyard, it is too bulky and the buttons get triggered, but i can wrap it around my hand or otherwise hold it easily and won’t drop my tamagotchi. like a leash.

the hard case is great for storage or tossing into a bag.

walmart sells these clear makeup pouches, and they are very inexpensive. found with other bags in the makeup section. good for a few tamas and easy to carry!

I just slap a screen protector on mine, and a case if I have one that fits, and throw them in my handbag or on my keys, whichever is handier; although I try not to put it on my keys if I'm carrying my victorinox(it's the Swiss Champ model if your interested and weighs over 6oz- it's a hefty boi, but oh so useful!). In that instance, it's safer for the Tama to be free-floating in my handbag as there's not usually metal hanging out anywhere in there that it can easily reach.

I m a huge fan of the lanyard method and have definitely rocked that, but be warned, 2+ tamas on a lanyard are at risk of clacking a lot. If you can keep one Tama in a bag, pocket, or on your keys and the other on a lanyard, that's pretty choice. BUT, if you're putting a Tama on your keys, it NEEDS a screen protector.

I agree. I wouldn’t wear more than one at a time. I like the Pix without a strap too, and I just put it in the clear pouch or hard case to carry it.

Due to the color screen, it doesn’t work well outdoors even in indirect light. So I usually just leave it on my nightstand or coffee table and hire the sitter when I’m away.

The b/w ones are fun to carry around though. Any small case would work for them. I have an extra On sized case that fits almost every vpet I have. I just let the keychain part hang out so it doesn’t rub anything.

For the smaller ones I use those "junky" ball chains to attach them either to my belt loop or to my purse. If I'm headed to the office I will hide them in my bag.

The Pix REALLY needs another strap hole! I reluctantly use a lanyard on mine, but I'm not happy about it. I've been meaning to attempt another solution but I haven't gone about it just yet...

How do you keep the ball chain from separating? After mine fell to the ground a few times I quit using those.

These information sets by all of you is awesome, and it sure did help me too in getting something convenient. Hence, i bought this DC comics lanyard (please dont mind as I am trying to fulfill two loves of my life at the same time i-e, DC and Tama 😊) since I am not a sticker guy... at all lol... and i got a sticker with the lanyard as well, so to utilize it all almost, i cut out the sticker in to different DC character faces and just slapped them there on Pix's back. And so to clear the two Tamaz clanking into each other, i just placed them one on top of the other 😊. Because there is a another retractable lanyard (the batman sticker) that i also bought and connected at the end of the DC lanyard and took its loop lanyard connector and separated it for Pix only and clipped it on the DC lanyard.. easy clip on clip off at any time 😊, so I actually have a lot of key-space for myself.
The next two things I need: Screen protector, and some kind of a case for the Pix... DIY most probably, but will try and keep it simple.. idk yet but the hamsters running in my brain are trying to do their best... just that it takes a while to gain momentum lol. Thanks again for all.

The normal sized ball chains that come on most tamas work pretty well, but the nano ones have very thin ball chains. Maybe I could adjust it, but I don’t wanna risk it after the nano ball chain let my tama fall a couple times. I feel like I would constantly wonder if it was okay or about to fall. The little lanyard loops I found are sturdy and I can trust them. The good thing is we have lots of carrying options.
