Hi TamaTalkers,

I was wondering if any member had information about sights of places where you may find a Tamagotchi (any type) in Mainland China. Mainland China doesn't include Hong Kong and I'd be really pleased and appreciated if any member has spotted one or knows where there would be one. Thanks.

*edit: The place a few of my friends are going is Beijing.

I do not live in China, but I have a friend that is Chinese and has a Tamagotchi from China. At least, that's what she said. I haven't a clue on where to get them, but I'm pretty sure that they have American stores in Beijing and there is probably a toy store that includes American or foreign Tamagotchis.

 
Lilangelbaby1989, thanks for helping me out on that. I've heard that there is a Toys 'R Us opening there and I'll get information about that. :D

 
China probably has plenty of tamagotchis in large department stores - they also probably have a lot of the Japanese models (like the School version).

Have a quick look through sites like yesasia.com to get a feel for what might be on sale over there.

(Yesasia is like an online shop)

 
Japanese models? Those'll be a great addition to my collection. Thank you very much TamaMum for the information. I'll keep in mind to go to large department stores and I'll tell many of my friends who decide to go there about this too.
