Kuchipatchi broke the news on his blog today...a second Tamagotchi movie is coming out at the end of this year!

The title is "Eiga! Tamagotchi Uchu ichi happi na Monogatari!?"

English is "Movie! Tamagotchi Space number one happy story!?"

Whoa! Are you cereal (serious)?! That's great! I'm going to have to learn Japanese and go to Japan and see that movie. Kind of makes you wish they had an English version. ;)

Sorry for the horrible title translation.

I think a better one is "Tamagotchi Movie: The Happiest Story in the Universe!?"

And the actual theater release date for the new movie is December 20th.

The tamaeiga.com site will update on July 15th with more details.

The DVD for the first movie is on sale from July 25th!

That sounds cool, But ell, is it only in Japan? But if it ever comes out in North America ( if it didn't already ) I would definatly watch it to see how they made it. I wonder what the story line would be?
