I was recently at a store that sold virtual pets with IR. They weren't Tama's but would the connection still go through??

 
**when i say "will the connection still go through" i mean with the other brand and tama.

 
If they're not tamas' it won't work

 
no it probably wont work. But saying that me and my brother have conextion 2 versions and ours wont link up. :D

 
Weird. A little girl has a Fake Tamagotchi and she connected with a girl with a V2, the orange cross one and the girl with V2 had an eating contest and the other gir, had like a hat that was disappearing as if bein geaten. I didn't see too well though. :mellow:
