Hello Everyone

Natasja, who I think is an ADMIN here and webmistress of PIXELMOOD.com, is putting together an ENTAMA guide. I've been helping by contributing as much info and background as I can.

I have dumped my efforts into a rough web layout -- these were notes that I typed out as I read and scanned pictures from the guide book.

I recommend that you wait for Natasja's version, which will have pictures and probably a lot clearer explanations, but if you want a sneak peak you can visit it here.

[i'm funny about this one in japanese it says, ".キミの親が祝たまごっち御殿を立てることもあるよ! おいわいをおくりたいね。　よるこんでくれるといいな" [kimi no oya ga shukutamagotchigoten wo taterukoto aruyo! Oiwai wo okuritaine. Yorukondekureruto iine!.] The Kanji for shuku and the numerous meanings of tateru make this translation confusing for me. The guide has Tateru written hiragana for ease.

I've been watching the daily news and realized that there are a lot

more news than those that I posted from the guide book!!! So no

telling how many messages there actually are.

TO THE MODS: I've noticed several topics on the Entama, how about creating an ENTAMA section for these posts? After the YesAsia restock more and more people will be getting Entamas and thus coming to TamaTalk for the info.

Various Entama Help . . .

Where are my items??

The eighth icon is your treasure bag. Here you'll find the

menu for:

- Work/School items

- Guts Up items

- Medicines [love potions etc.]

2nd page of the menu:

- Travel items [Tickets and Items youve bought in the other towns]

- Other [Happiness items you buy in Tamamarket]

9th Icon is your family book, or scrap book

here you can find:

- Friends

- Family

- Graveyard

Remember after you select a menu category the item will be display'd use

the *A* button to scroll those items. You probably have a lot more

items than you realize.

The old man, O'sekkai Jiisan, sells all kinds of items, mostly foods,

but he also sells cooking items, happiness items, etc... Its

random. Where the item appears depends on what you bought.

Check your food menu.

start with no icons selected then press:

A, A, B, B, A, and A again to scroll your food items.

Sushi roll and sandwich are default.

Everything after that is what you have bought.

Same for snacks: Banana and Icecream are the defaults anything after that is what you bought.

Tsushin [infrared connection] with other Tamas

Its a bit tough to explain if you dont know japanese characters but I will try my best.

You have to go to the heart icon and press the B button.

Press "A" until you get to the heart. Press B, Press A to scroll

the menu.

Here you'll have several menu items. Press A button to scroll your options.

+ Entama　エンたま

+ Deka Tama　でかたま

+ Keitama　ケーたま

Next Screen

+ PC - Keitai　ＰＣ・ケータイ

+ Tama Stage　たまステ

You should select the ENTAMA option. Here it is in Japanese " エンたま "

If you cant read that, then look at this image. The page reads Right to Left.

After you select Entama

you'll have another set menu options.

+ Game

+Present Give

+Present Recieve

+ Marry

Choose the option that you want to do

[be sure that if you choose Recieve on one of your entamas then on the other entama you have to choose Give.]

Check the pictures of the links I sent. At the very top there is a picture of these menu options.

Be sure to press the B button around the same time on both entamas and that the senors are facing each other.

I hope they work for you.....

Change the Contrast

Change contrast by holding the B button and then press C when it

changes to the clock screen. [Keep holding B down during the whole

process]

Then: A is lighter and b is darker.

Go to school

You begin tama pre-school when you grow up and get a letter announcing

that its time to go. You have to be able to read japanese. After the

letter it will go to a cut scene animation of Nyugakushiki = opening

school ceremony. Same for everything else after.

When its time to choose a job when you are 9 or 10 years old it may be

a little more difficult if you can't read the japanese because you can

choose your job. After you chose the kings helpers will vote if they

approve.

The Jobs you can pick depends on how many points you have in a certain

skill. I posted a lot of pictures to this groups about Jobs and

school. Have a look.

Get 999 points the P-Low Way

This is my totally pathetic way to level up in points quickly.

Note with this special technique you other stats will mostly stay at

zero.

First get yourself a good guts up item for what ever you wanna get.

Rent a long movie, something like, KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

Select the guts item. Position the entama in your hand in a way that

makes it easy to press the b buttom. I like to hold it upside down

in my left hand and use my thumb. But thats me.

Now start your movie, and just keep pressing b with your thumb. It

maybe a good idea to turn the sound off and rest or change hands

periodically.

Also if you are going out of town, or have to go drive somewhere

far, or short. Use the same technique mentioned above. Its okay to

leave the sound on if your turn your car stereo up really loud.

Note: I like to smoke and drink coffee while driving. Since I don't

have three hands, its a bit difficult to use this technique. Since I

am a master of this skill its okay, but if you are not a master I

don't recommend this techinque while drinking coffee or smoking, or

drinking and smoking, because you WILL have to release the steering

wheel at some point and time.

After two days of this nonsense you will be at 999.

I did this while still in the first stage then I didnt think about

it any more. And just a crucial time, the night of the second day,

I noticed I had dropped one point to 998. Luckily I saw that and

played a quick game. The next morning Makiko was born.

Another note: After getting a job with 999 points, I still only

started with one star!!! I panic'd but I repeated the above steps

until I had three stars! So you can still level up after 999 points.

GOOD LUCK.

Playing only games and getting 999 points in three days is

impossible. You have to use the ABBOTs monotonous button pushing

technique if you want to get any of the rare chara's!
