This is a problem I've been having with both of my V4s, and I'm wondering if anyone else is having it too.

Once in a while I'll be playing a game, usually Jumping Rope, and my buttons will be unresponsive. This has happened at least twice on both of my V4s. I'll press the button in and nothing happens, then I either have to really quickly push it again or I lose(grr..).

It's not a huge problem, but I'm curious if this is happening to other people and their V4s, or if I'm just the lucky person who buys the glitchtastic tamagotchis xP

Please post experiences. Thanks in advance!

I don't have a V4.

Are you pushing down hard enough? That would sometimes happen to me on my V3s.

I'm not really sure.

Yeah, I've had that happen a couple of times. :D

The buttons on Version 4 can be awkward compared Version 3, but you'll get used to it, don't worry! :D

You have to push the buttons real hard- I find it OK now, and you will hopefully too in a matter of time! :p

Yes! That has been happening to me. I though I had bought a bad Tamagotchi at first. But, yeah, my buttons are definitely delayed-reaction.

It happens on my V3, for sure. When I play heading, I go to move and my tama doesn't, so then I move it real quick, but not in time to jump and then the ball falls on it's head. :) ;)

Yeah, that's happened a couple of times for me.

I hit it once and nothing happens. I hit it again it it works. I have pushed it down the same hardness as the V3, so I don't know what the problem is.

Yeah, but that's happened a lot, (especially in games) so don't worry. ;)

me too....mine is the a button only

Reminds me of the Angelgotchi, The game can be quite hard since the buttons arent very responsive >.<

But my Oceangotchi is fine, They are more responsive then my V3's o_O.

I dont actually have a V4, But it seems there is a slight glitch with the buttons, Since it has happened to so many people.

...And maybe it'll be fixed in the V4.5 eh?

I don't have a v4 but I have a v3 and v1. I took them on an aeroplane (in my normal luggage, because apparently Tamagotchi can cause electronic interferences according to the guy at the check-in who looks like the sterotypical IT specialist) and they floated around in there. Ever since that, the buttons have become less responsive on both. For my v3 sometimes I need my Nintendo DS stylus to push the A button. For v1 I just need to apply a little more pressure and I'm getting used to it. I also took my neighbour's v1 on the aeroplane and... it survived without a problem! (It was on the same lanyard as the v1.)

i have absolutely no problems with my v3!
-___- she said for the v4.

ANYWAYS~~~

for mine, they are a bit hard to push down.. and sometimes they stop, but i think bandai could have done this on purpose so if you have it in a pocket or something random things wont get pressed so easily. its possible....

This is something that I have encountered a little bit with my V4 but my tama is still functional. My V3 was very bad when it came to unrepsonsive buttons. It was like I had to push them at a certain angle and speed otherwise they wouldn't work. This made playing just about every game, very difficult. So far (of the new generation of tamas) my V1 works the best - no problems. I was just happy to see an improvement button wise in my V4.

I agree BS, my V3 was very unresponsive. I don't have a V4 (yet) but I am hoping the buttons respond faster.

My V1 was also the best when it game to buttons responding. :)

ARRGH! tell me about it, bell sprout! i have to push my buttons at an angle to make them respond. I cannot do it during games, because it takes me a billion years to find the angle. the wiring in the v4s just may be bad. i hope it is fixed in the v4.5!
